Where to turn

Civic emergency contacts.

Two lists. The first is for genuine physical emergencies in Kenya. The second — the real focus of this project — is where to turn when your rights have been violated, or when you need to hold an institution accountable.

Numbers change over time. Always verify current contact details against the organisation’s official website where possible.

Part 1 — Physical Emergencies (Kenya)

  • National Police / General Emergency

    999 or 112

  • Kenya Red Cross Ambulance

    Free, 24/7, nationwide

    1199

Filing a complaint, even when the outcome disappoints you, creates a record. Silence creates nothing.
